Bob's Malibu home

Just got back from a California vacation. While in Malibu I decided
to go see if I could find Bob's house. The address is readily
available (everyone in the local community seems to know it) yet I
still couldn't find his house. His address is listed as 26400
Bluewater Road which I found right away. It's up a mountain, right
off the beach. You actually make a right turn at Anthony Hopkins'
house and you are on Bluewater. However, I could not find 26400. I
did find a gated community, which I assume is where Bob's house is
located (and which has very tight security). Does anyone know if that
is correct? I've seen pictures of the giant fortress with the
mosque-like roof taken from a mountaintop so I assume it was taken
from a great distance. Just curious if anyone else has had trouble
finding his house (or success).

The other day I was in your neighborhood. I thought I'd try to locate where
you live. I snooped around the general area, tried peering in through some
of your neighbor's windows and asking questions.

well, seeing as Bob is such a famous guy, who has even sung about living
in that dome in Malibu, I took a spin out once to see his house, and it
looked as you described it, impossible to see from the street.

ive had success ... you must go beyond the gate house while wlalking not
driving smile and wave at th gateman ..veer left walk untill you see the
golden dome and thats where mr jones lived or lives its about a quarter

mile

or half mile down theroad ..also look for the bearded hippy in coveralls

in

the watch house next to the driveway he will happily escort you away
...muttering no man no man repeating and repeating mr jones is the name

on

the mailbox 2400 i think is the number ...really intereting house...one
story with a copper or brass dome about a mile long and plenty of property
...dogs and old wrecked cars i recall were in the yard ..really cool and
timeless...

It may help if you have Johnny Cash riding shotgun with the Dixie Chicks,
and they throw their panties overboard...

Located in the area of Malibu known as Point Dume (pronounced Point Doom, local
real estate brokers pronounce it Point Doo-May to sell more homes). Point Dume
is adjacent to the public Point Dume State Beach and just south of the public
Zuma County Beach. Most locals are cool and leave most celebrities alone, as
they are everywhere in Malibu.
